Hi..if you still have antisocial problems read "drummerboy" listed in general chat forum to get results...best of luck....I know what you're going through.

I completely agree with those who have experienced the true, uncaring face of Hyde. They don't care about us, they are a company and therefore only care about making a profit. They will do whatever it takes to maximise that profit. Forums like this and their (incredible waste of money) news letters are just propoganda to try and make them look good, but those who have suffered at their hands know the real truth.
The complaint process is a good example of this. It took me YEARs (years!) to get Hyde to acknowledge I lived in the house. They wouldn't reply to my letters or acknowledge my complaint for all that time. When they eventually did, it was because I got the Ombudsman involved.
The first stage of the complaints procedure, my experiences (haveing been through it several times now) is that they ALWAYS say they are right and you are wrong in the first instance. Then, you have to go to the second stage where they look into the complaint and, eventually after months of stress and upset, they might admit you were right but, NEVER in writing. In writing, the erronious extra charge or whatever just disappears etc. For antisocial behaviour they do nothing because why should they? It doesn't effect their profit so they don't care - their attitude is it's your problem.
Don't expect anything good from Hyde or you'll be dissapointed.

Hi Kim,
I found this news story on the Hyde website that you might find interesting:
Anti-social residents successfully evicted link news story wrote:
The eviction is the result of a series of court hearings which date back to September 2008, when the family were referred to the police due to repeated complaints of nuisance by themselves and their visitors. So it looks like it would take 2 years to get any action carried out, and this is after documenting the ASB, and reporting it to the police by various people. edited by FriedShrimp on 31/08/2010

dear all, i moved into a one bed apartment in october 09. that same night the anti social behaviour started. i went thru three and a half months of it. i went to hyde for help. they did nothing, the housing officer was useless and procedures were not followed and i suffered. i ended up getting very ill and had to leave my job this year in march 10. back in december 09 my hosing officer came for a 12 week visit, i pointed out that i felt intimidated and scared and i asked if i could get a pet, and seeing that neighbours also had pets which i pointed out, he said that it was ok and as long as other residents had no problems, then hyde would turn a blind eye. those were his words. i got a dog at xmas and he has been a joy and has helped me thru some hard times lately. then a new housing officer sprung up and told me i had to get rid of the dog as i had no written permission. my world started to collapse and its just getting worse. 23hyde have showed that they have no compassion, or understanding of this very special case. i am disabled by mental health issues and they continue to push me and push me, responding to letters but conveniently not answering important questions i put to them., i am seeking legal advice and i am going to fight hyde til the end. why should i move when the a.s.b person is getting away scott free. why are they not listeniong to me. there is too much evidence in my diary of failing by hyde i have no choice but to fight for whats right.
