Looking for case studies for a feature on enduring friendship for Candis magazine; a subscription-only publication with a circulation of 300,000. Candis is unique, in that it gives some of its profits to charity (eg, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Children's Hospices UK).
The feature is called 'friends for life' and looks at how best friends stick together through thick and thin; never judging but always supporting each other. I am specifically looking for an age-gap friendship (eg, someone of retirement age being good friends with someone at least 20 years younger); and a platonic friendship between a man and a woman (aged 30-60). How have you shared life's ups and downs together? How have you supported each other? What do other people think of your friendship?
I will need to interview you by phone (should only take 20 minutes maximum), and we will need to photograph you together - but we will send the photographer direct to you, so no travelling involved.
