Typical Hyde - start an 'open forum' for your poor victims to have a voice, then try to shut them up when they have something to say. Are you really surprised we use this to complain and tell others about the terrible treatment we suffer? Stop trying to bully Hobnobsuck - let them speak their mind and tell the story of what you are doing to them! shame on you Hyde.

Dear Hobnobsuk
As I said in my earlier post, the issues should be discussed with our lettings Coordinator at Hove on 01243 816956 and I will ask that you be contacted to discuss through.

Apparently the call was just a fact finding mission Service Centre that got pee'ed off because Mr C was obeying hydemartlets1 suggestion of being an "appropriate" place to discuss, if he wanted a Service Centre he would have nipped down to his local garage............lol
But thanks forum for trying, one question; is Hydemartlet an actually Housing Association or a form of letting agents?
And for complaint, was not actually a complaint to you but a part of a much larger complaint that hydemartlet took part and sure at a latter date will be questioned, the subject being "How could Hyde take part in this", if any complaint was made then that will be from your end and not Mr C's, we hoped that some positive conclusion would have come from Hyde to resolve any issues they felt could have helped but instead we received a Service Centre.
This letter in full entirety will be placed on one of our sites for future reference.

I hear Mr C left a message with your service centre just after 2.30pm and was not to happy with the service centres attitude in dealing with him, now we can't be having this.

Dear HobnobsUK

I am sorry to read of your concerns about applying to become a HydeMartlet resident . May I suggest that the Forum is not the most appropriate place to discuss the sensitive issues raised and that you contact our Lettings Coordinator at our Hove Office on 01243 816956 to discuss matters through.

Yours Sincerely

Dear HobnobsUK
I have forwarded the original content of your post to senior management at HydeMartlet for follow-up and I am confident you will hear from them shortly, through suitable means. Although it is sad to have to edit any Forum posting, I have had to do so in this case to remove specific names, addresses and statements made in your original text, for legal and privacy reasons, and to protect individuals.

Hyde are keen to help all our residents resolve any issues concerning the homes or services Hyde provides them. However, this Forum is for opinions and discussions rather than complaints, which are best directed to us via your local office.

On Tuesday 21st September 2010 I received aletter from Hyde Martlet Housing for a viewing/interview of <a Hyde> flat <address withheld> from a short listing of 20 and being a potentialcandidate, the viewing/interview was for 23rd September 2010.

When I arrived at the said property I wasshown around whilst waiting on an OT to arrive and told many viewed theproperty but turned it down, when she did arrive she started to measure thekitchen and bathroom heights for my wheelchair, she also gave me a phone numberfor the access point to have rails fitted when I moved in and a 10 minute chatabout the shower seating, then just as everything seemed finalised the OT <name withheld> threw a spanner into the works by querying my eligibility for a twobedroom flat and thus stopped and cancelled my nomination without any appeal,she also stated that when I received my direct payment that wouldn’t be much?,that I could spend it on anything I liked and meant it in way spoken, I mustadvise at this time that spending direct payments on anything other than itspurpose “care” is counted as fraud and no OT or anyone should make such asuggestion, is this what the OT’s tell all their clients?

I have since received a letter dated 27thSeptember 2010 from Homemove Team stating that the Homemove Team haveundertaken a re-assessment of my Housing application based on informationreceived following my viewing and tenancy interview by <names withheld>.

My complaint/Appeal is that in three years Ihave been assessed three times for my eligibility for a two bedroom propertywith my medical condition and needs, that I have had backing in this periodfrom a specialist and a doctor giving this support and at no time was Inotified by either Hyde Martlets, Occupational Therapy or the Homemove Teamthat this appointment was to re-assess my needs or care plan and was doneclandestinely without my consent or knowledge and under mined anything positivethat had been achieved and that over a longer period of 10 years I had beenassessed already four times by Homemove Team and Social Services before movingto my present address in 2007 and at no time was my eligibility in question,apart from the City Councils errors or miss guidance.
At this interview I made my position quiteclear that <name withheld> is my full time carer and receives benefit for such, not asstated in Homemove’s letter of the 27th September 2010 “– That <name withheld> was your carer” and that Iwas supposed to have stated “– That youcould manage on your own with <name withheld> staying from time to time”, yourtranscript has been taken out of context and like yourselves, I to havetranscript of the conversation to the day in question and it is clear thattheir words and mine have been taken totally out of context and does notconstitute evidence of disability or eligibility but instead miss used to deliberatelyundermined any move to suitable accommodation for 24 hour care needed and thisnot being the first time this department have cancelled a nomination to a propertywithin the 10 years.

<inappropriate comment removed>

That during month of June I had already madean appeal for an A Category with backing from several sources for theharassments I had been receiving from my neighbours at <location withheld>, theseharassments have never subsided and continue and apparently refused thisapplication on grounds that Southern Housing Group never awarded any points, Ina recent conversation with a tenant from within <location withheld> it was statedthat we was called “paedophiles” but not now!

<inappropriate comment removed>

And thanks Hyde, hope you realise this guy now lays in his bed sick from your actions and he has been down graded to a one bed room and once sorted will have to start over again, the mix up came when he tried to evade the questions of why he wanted to leave the property he lives and that states why but how could hyde take part in past hate campaigns?
