The worst experience I have ever had in my life. If I was rating with a number, it would have to be a negative number because they make my life a living hell for no reason other than to make money. Evil.

If I was to rate my Landlords I could only give them a "1" and thats merely for presentation, based on 1 - 10 scale and one being at its worse, especialy around anti social behavior.........lol

Overall I am a satisified resident. I think HydeMartlet listen to their residents and generally are quick to act. However, the biggest problem is communication but I believe this is being addressed so hopefully things will be even better. On the resident involvement side, really hoping that with Julia on board and a new structure in place, resident involvement will improve.

I have the same problem. I was moved into this property on health grounds and as none of the issues I have raised have been dealt with, I could've died yesterday, as they have not fixed my jamming doors or made my wet room usable, I ended up having my partner having to break a door down as I was having a siezure in the bath, which I should not have to use as my partner has to lift me in and out of it..so he walks out, I start having a seizure and he could not get the door open as it jammed and then the handle came off in his hand. I have told hyde about theses issues for over 6months and STILL nothing has been done. it is incredulous!!

Paul - I'd like to know which part of Hyde you're in. I can pass on your comments to the local team. On the other points you raise, you might be interested in some of our recent research into how residents quality of life could be improved. Here's the link http://www.hyde-housing.co.uk/client_files/library/special/TomorrowsHeartlanderA5.pdf
Furthermore we've just been commissioned by the department of health to look into the very issue you mention - the link between health and housing. I'll make sure I keep you posted.

Communicate and talk to customers more, give them (especially in a block of flats where lots of work goes on) dates ans times of works to be carried out.Where there is an area with lots of ASB improve the local lettings policy so that existing problems are not added to.Carry out research to investigate the link between poor mental and physical health and social housing,More face to face support from your housing officer.Facilitate work experiance for residents with long term health problems.

Both!
Tell us how Hyde compares to other landlords you have had in the past.
Tell us how HydeMartlet does and residents from other Hyde areas will (hopefully) reply with how this compares with their landlord.

Compare your landlord here with other residents.
Does your landlord respond promtly and efficiently to any requests you make?
