Hi I am also new and was wondering if generally speaking permission can be granted to keep a dog in a ground floor flat with a communal ground?

Hi Davies62
Thank you for contacting us.
Residents must get written permission before keeping any pets or livestock in their home (including garden) – permission will not be unreasonably refused. However, this will only ever be given conditionally and residents are required to remove any pet or livestock which causes a nuisance or damage. We would urge you to contact your local office so we can discuss and investigate your concerns.
Regards
