Hello Pinkstimpy

I am very sorry to hear you continue to experience problems with anti social behaviour from your upstairs neighbour.

You mention in your post that your Housing Officer has given your neighbour a warning so I suggest you contact your Housing Officer again immediately to give them an update on the continuing nuisance. Your Housing Officer, in line with Hyde's Anti Social Behaviour Policy, will be monitoring the ASB case and will have asked you to keep a diary of incidents.

Regarding your question about a transfer to another property nearby, your Housing Officer or your local Allocations Officer will be able to advise you.

To help you further please contact your local office on 0800 389 3576 so we can discuss your situation and pass your message to either your Housing Officer or your local ASB Co-ordinator.

Thanks,
Sarah

After a year and a half of living in my flat i finally cant take anymore from the old lady and her son upstairs. They wake me and my kids up at all hours shouting at each other etc, they have now taken to shouting at my kids when there out playing even though its not just my two out there. Well after another shouting match in the hall way again this evening i just cant take anymore. he comes home from all day at the pub and starts. Sober hes a nice man but drunk hes vile and its getting to the point were im in tears alot because im miserable living here. The hyde rep has been and given him a warning but that has just given him more to shout about. The qukestion i have is there are several properties around here that are empty or the person is being evicted so why cant hyde move me to one of those so i can get away from him. I really cant take much more. is it to much to ask for a peacefull night and my kids feeling safe to go outside to play.
